69th PSO-HNS Annual Convention
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 69th Annual Convention of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, with the theme “Breathing Better, Living Better: Advances in Rhinology, Smell, Skull Base, and Sleep Surgery.” As Overall Co-Chair of this year’s convention and Chair of the Philippine Academy of Rhinology (PAR), I am proud to invite you to this milestone event—held for the first time at our new venue, Space at One Ayala, a state-of-the-art convention facility at the heart of Makati.
This year’s convention highlights the latest advancements in key subspecialties that directly impact our patients’ quality of life. With the Philippine Academy of Rhinology taking the lead in organizing the scientific program, and in close collaboration with the Philippine Academy of Sleep Surgery, we have crafted a program that reflects the dynamic progress in sinonasal care, olfaction, skull base approaches, and sleep surgery. The breadth and depth of this year’s sessions reflect our commitment to continuous learning for everyone: whether you are a resident trainee, a recent graduate, or a senior consultant.
As added venues for learning and best-practice sharing, we are excited to announce two firsts: the Dr. Ramon V. Arcenas Rhinology Research Contest on December 3, and the MUST NOSE: Rhinology Quiz Bee on December 4, both starting promptly at 7:00 AM. These events showcase our commitment to a balanced approach to learning—combining formal and interactive methodologies—grounded in the core values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence.
We hope this convention not only strengthens your clinical practice but also renews your passion for innovation and patient-centered care. Mabuhay!
Yours truly,
Rodante A. Roldan, MD
