Our Story
The Philippine Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (PSO-HNS) was founded in 1956 by a group of renowned Filipino otolaryngologists with the aim of advancing the practice and knowledge of otolaryngology in the country.
As a non-profit organization, the PSO-HNS is committed to the advancement of education and training of its members through scientific meetings, conferences, and continuing medical education programs. Furthermore, the society aims to promote public awareness and understanding of otolaryngology-related issues and diseases, as well as to support and promote research in this field
Over the years, the PSO-HNS has grown to become a leading authority in the field of otolaryngology in the country, with a membership base of over 900 practicing Fellows. Through the society’s efforts, the quality of ear, nose, and throat care in the Philippines has continuously improved, enabling many patients to receive better treatment and care for their conditions.
Through its various initiatives, the PSO-HNS remains committed to its primary objective of advancing the practice and knowledge of otolaryngology by constantly fostering collaboration, education, and research in this field.
